How to solve common problems during use? When industrial endoscopes are used in complex industrial scenarios, they are prone to problems such as abnormal imaging, operational malfunctions, and functional failures due to factors like environmental conditions, operation methods, and equipment status. Accurately identifying the root cause of the problem and taking targeted solutions can not only ensure the smooth progress of the detection work, but also reduce equipment wear and tear and extend its service life. The following is a detailed breakdown of common problems encountered during the usage process and practical solutions based on actual application scenarios. Imaging blurring is the most frequent problem, and its causes mainly fall into three categories: lens contamination, improper distance and Angle, and unbalanced parameter Settings. When the lens is contaminated with oil, dust or water vapor, it should be handled according to the type of contaminants: For oil stains, a dust-free cotton swab dipped in anhydrous alcohol can be used to gently wipe it to avoid scratching the lens coating. Dust or dry impurities should be wiped with low-pressure dry compressed air first to prevent secondary adhesion during wiping. In a humid environment, if water vapor condenses, first place the device in a dry environment and let it stand for 10 to 20 minutes, then wipe the surface of the lens with a dry cloth. When conducting detection, if the objective lens is too close (less than the minimum focusing distance) or too far from the object being measured, it will cause image blurring. The position of the probe should be adjusted slowly to maintain the optimal observation distance of 5-15mm, and at the same time, direct contact between the lens and the detection surface should be avoided. In terms of parameter Settings, in low-light environments, the exposure time can be appropriately increased or the fill light function can be enabled. In strong light environments, the exposure intensity should be reduced and the brightness of the light source should be decreased to minimize reflective interference. If the device supports white balance adjustment, it can be manually calibrated according to the type of ambient light (natural light, industrial light) to ensure accurate color reproduction. Image stuttering or transmission interruption is often related to signal interference, excessive equipment load or improper pipeline adaptation. When using the wireless transmission function, if there are strong electromagnetic interference sources such as industrial frequency converters and high-voltage lines in the detection area, the position of the main unit should be moved to avoid the interference area, or the wired transmission mode should be switched to ensure signal stability. Some devices experience excessive processor load due to simultaneously enabling high-power functions such as 4K imaging, real-time video recording, and Wi-Fi transmission. In such cases, non-essential functions can be turned off, and the imaging resolution can be adjusted to meet the requirements (1080P is sufficient for regular detection, and 4K should be enabled for high-precision detection) to reduce the operational pressure on the devices. The length of the pipeline is directly related to signal attenuation. When it exceeds the rated effective transmission distance of the equipment, image delay or stalling will occur. At this time, a dedicated transmission pipeline of the corresponding length needs to be replaced, or an endoscope model that supports signal enhancement technology should be selected. Inaccurate measurement functions will affect the accuracy of defect judgment. The core solution approach revolves around "calibration, cleaning, and operation norms". The measurement system of industrial endoscopes needs to be calibrated regularly. It is recommended to use the 2.5D calibration fan or standard scale plate provided by the manufacturer for parameter calibration every 3 to 6 months to ensure that the measurement error is controlled within 5%. Before measurement, the lens must be thoroughly cleaned to avoid contaminants blocking the measurement reference point. When operating, keep the lens perpendicular to the defect area to avoid size misjudgment caused by the tilt Angle. For minor cracks, pits and other defects, the measurement Angle can be changed multiple times to cross-verify the results. If there is still a deviation after calibration, it is necessary to check whether the measurement software is the latest version. If necessary, contact the manufacturer for system upgrade or hardware maintenance. The main manifestations of probe operation faults are steering failure, propulsion obstruction or pipeline damage. Steering failure is often caused by joint jamming or motor malfunction: If the probe can rotate slightly but not smoothly, it may be that impurities have entered the joint gap. A small amount of the manufacturer's special silicone oil can be injected, and the probe can be gently rotated to evenly distribute it and remove the jamming substances. If it is completely impossible to turn, check whether the connection cable between the main unit and the probe is loose, or directly contact after-sales service to test the internal drive motor. Propulsion obstruction is commonly seen in complex curved channels. Forced propulsion can easily cause pipeline bending or being pinched by internal components of the equipment. At this time, the probe needs to be withdrawn and the path re-planned. A flexible conduit should be used to guide the probe to turn. For curves with too large an Angle, propulsion can be carried out in sections and the image can be observed in real time to avoid excessive bending of the pipeline beyond the minimum bending radius. When pipelines show signs of wear or cracking, they should be immediately stopped from use and replaced with pipelines of corresponding specifications based on the degree of damage. Ptfe-coated pipelines should be given priority in corrosive environments, and ceramic-sheathed pipelines should be replaced in high-temperature scenarios to prevent water from entering the equipment or internal circuit failures due to pipeline damage. Poor lighting effects can directly affect defect identification. Common causes include aging of the light source, light reflection, and improper angles. If the brightness of the light source weakens or the light emission is uneven, it is mostly due to the aging of the LED module. It is necessary to replace the light source component of the same model as per the manufacturer's instructions. After replacement, it is necessary to test whether the light intensity meets the detection requirements. When inspecting smooth metal surfaces, glass materials and other areas with strong reflection, glare is prone to occur. This can be achieved by adjusting the Angle of the light source (deviating from the vertical irradiation direction by 30-45°), reducing the light intensity, or applying a small amount of non-corrosive absorbent (such as a special inspection spray) lightly on the surface to be tested to reduce reflection. If local lighting shadows occur, it is necessary to check whether there is dust blocking the light source outlet. Clean it with a soft brush before conducting the detection to ensure that the light evenly covers the detection area. |
