How to extend the service life of industrial endoscopes? To extend the service life of industrial endoscopes, the key lies in establishing a "full life cycle" maintenance system. From operation norms, cleaning procedures, storage environments to regular maintenance, each link is precisely adapted to the equipment characteristics and usage scenarios. This not only reduces human damage but also slows down component aging, ensuring the equipment maintains stable performance for a long time. The standardization of operation procedures is the first line of defense against equipment damage, and the key lies in "light operation and risk avoidance". Before use, the detection path should be planned in advance, and burrs, obstacles and other debris that can easily scratch the probe in the channel should be cleared. If necessary, auxiliary tools should be used to guide the probe in to avoid blind advancement. If obvious resistance is encountered during the advancement of the probe, it should be stopped immediately. Do not push or pull it forcefully. When exiting, do it slowly and steadily. If the probe gets stuck, you can try adjusting the Angle or use tools to assist in disengaging. It is strictly forbidden to forcibly drag it, which may cause the pipeline to break or the joint to be damaged. When operating, it is necessary to avoid excessive bending of the probe beyond the minimum bending radius, especially for the optical fibers or electronic transmission pipelines of flexible endoscopes. Excessive bending can damage the internal circuits and imaging components. At the same time, strictly follow the rated parameters of the equipment when using it. Do not use ordinary endoscopes in scenarios with high temperatures, high pressures, strong corrosiveness, or other conditions that exceed their protection levels, to avoid irreversible damage caused by improper environmental adaptation. Full-process cleaning is the core step to slow down the aging of components, and targeted methods should be adopted based on the characteristics of the equipment components. As a core optical component, the lens requires extra caution when cleaning: First, use low-pressure dry compressed air to blow away surface dust, then use a degreased cotton swab dipped in anhydrous ethanol to gently wipe in a spiral progressive manner. Avoid hard particles scratching the lens coating. Do not touch the lens surface directly with your hands or wipe it with ordinary paper towels or hard cloth. Pipeline cleaning should be differentiated by material. For metal pipelines or PTFE-coated pipelines, a soft cloth dipped in a special cleaner can be used to wipe them to remove oil stains and corrosion residues. For optical fiber pipelines, it is necessary to avoid using highly corrosive cleaning agents. After cleaning, dry the moisture in the gaps with dry air. For the main unit and interface parts, you can wipe the outer shell with a soft cloth dipped in a small amount of clean water. If there are oxidation marks at the interface, gently rub the metal contacts with an eraser. Do not allow liquid to seep into the interior of the equipment. Special attention should be paid that when cleaning, avoid using liquids that are prone to crystallization such as salt water. It is preferred to use water for injection or distilled water for rinsing to prevent the residue of crystalline substances from affecting the flexibility of the components. The scientific management and control of the storage environment can effectively reduce the wear and tear of equipment caused by environmental factors. The equipment should be stored in a dedicated dust-proof and moisture-proof box. The storage environment temperature should be controlled between 15 and 25℃, and the relative humidity should be maintained below 65%. In humid areas, dehumidification equipment can be equipped to prevent optical lenses from getting moldy and metal parts from rusting. When storing, the probe should be placed straight to avoid sharp corners, folding or overly tight winding. The pipeline can be fixed according to the storage method provided by the manufacturer to prevent joint jamming or pipeline deformation. The main unit, battery and accessories should be stored separately to avoid mutual squeezing and collision. As a consumable part, the battery needs to be charged and discharged once a month when not in use for a long time to maintain its activity. It should be charged to about 80% before storage to avoid capacity decline due to overcharging and overdischarging. At the same time, the storage environment should be kept away from corrosive substances such as strong acids and strong alkalis, as well as strong magnetic fields and strong heat sources, to prevent the equipment casing and internal circuits from being corroded or subject to magnetic interference. Regular professional maintenance is the key to extending the service life of equipment. It is necessary to establish a fixed maintenance cycle and process. The optical system is recommended to undergo professional calibration every 3 to 6 months to ensure image clarity and color reproduction. The lens sealing should be inspected once a year, and aged sealing rings should be replaced in a timely manner. For the pipeline section, surface wear and cracks should be inspected every six months. For frequently used wear-resistant pipelines, if the coating is damaged, it should be replaced in time to prevent the internal structure from being exposed and corroded. The curved joints need to be coated with special silicone oil every month to keep the steering flexible and prevent impurities from causing jamming. In terms of the light source system, the service life of the LED cold light source can reach over 10,000 hours. It is necessary to regularly clean the dust at the light source outlet on a daily basis. If weakened brightness or uneven light emission is found, the light source module should be replaced in a timely manner. For modular designed equipment, it is necessary to regularly inspect the connection interfaces between pipelines and lenses to ensure good contact and avoid signal transmission failures. It is recommended to contact the manufacturer for a comprehensive disassembly and inspection every 1 to 2 years, replacing aged internal circuits, sensors and other core components to prevent the accumulation of minor malfunctions that could lead to equipment scrapping. Targeted protection after use in special scenarios can effectively reduce the wear and tear of equipment caused by extreme environments. After use in a high-temperature environment, the equipment should be allowed to cool naturally to room temperature before cleaning and storage to prevent deformation of components due to contact with cold water at high temperatures. After underwater or damp environment detection, the probe and interface should be immediately blown clean with dry air to thoroughly remove moisture. Check whether the waterproof seal is intact and replace the sealing ring if necessary. After use in a chemical corrosive environment, the residual corrosive medium on the surface should be thoroughly removed with a special cleaner, then rinsed clean with water and dried. After use in the wild or in scenarios with a lot of dust, it is necessary to pay special attention to cleaning the dust in the gaps between the lens and the pipelines to prevent particles from wearing down the moving parts. In addition, it is also very important to establish an equipment usage and maintenance file, detailing each usage scenario, duration, fault conditions and maintenance content, which is convenient for tracking the equipment status and predicting the replacement cycle of vulnerable parts in advance. Avoid leaving the equipment idle for too long. Even if it is not used for a long time, it should be turned on and run for 30 minutes every month to keep the internal components in working condition and prevent the aging of the circuits and the stiffness of the joints. Follow the principle of "professional maintenance". When equipment malfunctions, do not disassemble it by yourself. Contact the manufacturer or professional maintenance personnel in time for handling to avoid secondary damage caused by improper maintenance. |
